Web Wednesday – Video Edition

Did you grow up watching Schoolhouse Rock on Saturdays as a child?  If so then you’ll enjoy this trip down memory lane & if not, you are in for a treat! Schoolhouse Rock has some great learning videos. Many are available online.  The Schoolhouse Rock Collection is available on DVD and includes videos on History, Language Arts, Math and Science.

A quick YouTube search will find several educational videos for children.  If you use unit studies, online videos could prove a valuable resource.

Everyday Food Storage has some great tutorial videos.  From cooking wheat berries, to making French bread and more, you’ve really got to check these out.

We use the Netflix service as a resource for documentaries and other subject specific movies, as well as fun of course.

Age appropriate Games and Books related to Crawford the Cat videos are also available at the Crawfordthecat.com website. It's a good learning resource.
