The Faith of a Child

I have been blessed with the incredible opportunity to sing with Jenny Phillips (LDS singer/songwriter) in her fireside choir. Because of that, my kids were able to participate in her video presentations for the upcoming youth and primary productions that she is working on for 2012.  I loved the messages of these videos and I thought many of you would enjoy it as well. 
This first video is titled “Worth Waiting for”.  The message is chastity- it is a really great object lesson for older kids.    I really loved the way she put this video together.  The children are so adorable.  I love how hard they try to make the right choice and be obedient.  Children really are so pure and innocent.  The innocence of my children is part of the reason I have made this choice to homeschool. 

This second video, I Know,  is one of Jenny Phillips’ newest songs. The music is so beautiful and powerful.  At the beginning, she asks children how they know God is real.  I love their answers.  It is amazing that they really do know- at such a young age, they really do have a testimony that God is real.  I hope these messages touch you like they did me. 

Karyn is a mom to three young children. She just finished her first year of homeschooling. She grew up in FL and got a degree in Home Ec. Ed. from BYU. She taught school for a few years before having kids. Karyn loves learning along with her kids! Some hobbies: music, cooking, sewing, reading, & gardening.
