Book of Mormon Stories Journal Prompts

scripture stories jp

I’ve received many emails requesting journal prompts for the Book of Mormon.  I’m happy to deliver them today.  These journal prompts coordinate with the Book of Mormon Scripture Stories published by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  Although the stories are available online here, I highly recommend investing in the actual book.

Like the previous journal prompts for the New Testament, these are formatted to fit Avery label 5163 (10 labels per sheet).  Of course you can also just print and cut and paste.  We’ve personally found the labels/stickers to be very neat and convenient, and they do add a bit of fun as well.

If you are new to scripture journaling with children, you can take a peek at how we do it here.  I can’t think of words to describe how blessed I feel that Heavenly Father gave me this idea.  It has truly blessed my family and started my children on a path of joyful personal scripture study.

I’d love to hear your experiences with the journal prompts. =)

I love this idea! I've been trying to include more journal writing and more gospel study into our home and this will fit both so well together. Do you recommend that every one have their own copy of the Scripture stories or do you just use one for everyone to share?

My children each have their own copy of the book. We all take time in our scripture journals first thing in the morning. Having each his own copy enables us to do this. Enjoy!
